Illustration Fabric

For the Nousa Concept brand in Ibiza, I illustrated a fabric for their limited collection as an illustrator. This illustration has been implemented on different fabrics for blouses, jumpsuits, maxi dress, shirt dresses and two shorts. The fabric is sustainably produced in Bali. The illustration is screen printed ton sur ton.

The pattern is almost endless. And only has a repeat after a meter, so it has really a unique print of drawn flowers on fabric.
I drawn the total illustration with my black on paper. The drawing is screen printed on the fabric.

The blue color reminds me of the cool blue tones of the water and the (evening) sky. When designing the illustration I already had this color in mind. Very nice that Nousa also found it suitable for their collection. The illustration is screen printed on it in dark blue.

Sustainable.

The fashion labels are made of seed paper. If you put it in the ground, small plants will come out and the card will digest.
